I Am an Individual cause I am Human
or is humanity only the first step
Define Myself with my Individual Plan
In thoughts gone wild while a I slept

Of not painting myself by numbers
I lose you but find myself in slumber
as dreams outline brush strokes to come
eventually my my portrait will be done

I am an Individual

Sitting here in swift drift to conviction
I stand by clear concise diction
of principle and philosophy
that this is a path to liberty

with my hand over my heart
and my mind ready to start
a battle for mans resolution
this battle, a revolution

A lie without truth is no lie at all
For a lie is a truth from a diffent light
Charachter defined statements said
A lie is a truth that one can't stand tall
A lie is a truth that ones lost what's right
A lie is a truth of the facts we weren't fed

The Past can be like a battle scar
a sign of pain and lessons learned
left by the loss of what was yearned

The Past can be like a weight
slowing you down from taking leaps and bounds
to a future with answers as great as that sounds

to let the past leave you from within
to let the future continually flow in
yet I cling to past as if we could win

In a world without context
we would exist
In a world without pretext
I would persist
I've loved love that was doomed by distance
I've loved love that was doomed by time
in a world without factual persistence
I might find a love I can call mine

The goose runs and I follow
in a series of quests that best the worst of me

this advice rings hollow
the words reverb to preserve what I currently see

why do I work to fail
must I always succeed at falling through

strubborn the center of the tale
that has kept me distracted for years from you

whoever you are
I'll see you when I get there

My Heart Aches for a Mirror Image
Done the days of this lonely visage
a heart can not pump alone
to lose pace in it's somber tone
as it tells it's tale of the blood rush
that two heart can make this love gush
this poor lonely hearts suture
is the result of a lonely picture
